About the Visitor Oyster Card

A Visitor Oyster card is a smart card. It’s a quick and easy way to pay for your journeys on bus, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground, River Bus and most National Rail services in London. It’s a cheaper way to travel than buying a paper single ticket or Day Travelcard when in London.  


The Visitor Oyster Card offers daily capping at £6.70. This means you can travel as much as you like in a single day and the amount you pay for your travel is limited (or capped).  


Purchasing with WeKnow means you can pick up your card from our welcome desks in all arrivals terminals at the airport, saving you time when you arrive and meaning you’re ready to travel straight away. 

Credit Allowances 

When you buy a Visitor Oyster card, you pay a one-off non-refundable fee of £5 and the card comes pre-loaded with £15 credit. Credit put on the card never expires and can be used for a return visit to London or passed on to friends and family. If you run out of credit, it’s easy to top up at Underground, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail, most National Rail stations and over 4,000 local shops in London called Oyster Ticket Stops. 


If you do not use all the credit on your card, a refund for any remaining credit of up to £10.00 can be obtained from any Tube station ticket machine, however the card will be cancelled and you won’t be able to use it again for future travel.


Card Eligibility 

Anyone over the age of 11 will need their own individual Visitor Oyster card. Adults cannot travel together on a single card. Children up to 10 years can travel free at any time as long as they travel with an adult who has a valid ticket or travel card.

Feel At Home

Feel at Home is a service which allows Three customers to use their devices abroad at no extra cost in 72 countries. You can text, call and even browse the internet abroad without paying any extra money, it all comes out of your allowance.

What's Included 

  • All calls and texts to the UK (within your standard allowance). 
  • Use your data allowance abroad with no extra cost. 
  • It's always free to receive and send calls in a Feel At Home destination. When calling back to the UK you will need to replace the first 0 with +44 
  • You can stream and connect to Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) 



  • Tethering is not possible when in a Feel At Home Around the World destination, or if on an Essential Plan. 
  • You can't use more than 13GB of data in Europe or 12GB of data when further afield, even if you have a higher allowance than that. Similarly, when using Feel At Home Around The World you can send up to 5000 texts back to the UK and make up to 3000 minutes of calls back to the UK each month. 
  • Feel At Home is designed for those on business trips or holidays abroad. Not for extended periods of time. If you roam for more than 2 months in a 12 month rolling period you risk getting your account suspended. 
  • Numbers that start with 070, 084, 09 and 118 are not included in your allowance. 
  • You cannot use your minutes allowance to make calls to local or other international numbers. You can only use your inclusive minutes to call back to the UK. 

General Information

Three Mobile SIM cards only work with unlocked devices. 


Bundles are valid for 30 days upon activation, for further usage you will need to buy an additional top up and covert to another Add-on.

Please note these products cannot be delivered and is only available for our free Click & Collect service from our welcome desks located within every arrivals terminal at Heathrow Airport.


When checking out, please make sure you select the correct terminal you will be arriving in. We will have your order ready at our welcome desk for when you arrive, all you need to do is bring your booking confirmation containing your reference number with you. It is always a good idea to screenshot your booking confirmation and reference number before you fly, just in case you encounter difficulties connecting to the internet when you land.

Booking Confirmation 

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking with details of your order shortly after you check out. In the event that you do not receive an email from us, please check your Spam folder before notifying us by email quoting your full name and post/zip code so we can locate your order and resend your confirmation.  




You can make amendments to your order up to 24 hours before your order is due for collection. In some circumstances you may need to cancel your order and place a new order. Please email or call us and a member of our team will gladly assist you.
