Get to know one of London’s most famous landmarks as ‘The Tower Bridge Exhibition’ gives you the opportunity to explore the bridge, both past and present, through videos and interactive displays.

Take a stroll across high level walkways with a brand new, spectacular Glass Floor and view the capital from the lofty heights of this celebrated Victorian bridge. Gaze past your feet, 42 metres down to the Thames and much further afield, to see St Paul’s Cathedral and The London Eye.

Visit the Victorian Engine Rooms and the striking original steam engines that once raised the bascules of the bridge – you’ll experience sounds and smells that will transport you back to when the engines blasted into life. A fascinating virtual bridge lift reveals how the bascules still rise today to let ships pass beneath the walkways.

An exhibition in partnership with Southwark Arts Forum called ‘Art at the Bridge’ sees beautiful works of art exploring the theme ‘Tides of Change’ by artists from the Southwark community.
